Palm Sunday, March 24
- Sunday Worship at 10am: Join us as we celebrate Palm Sunday with the Handbell Ensemble and “The Palms.” Join us as we enter into Holy Week together.
- Free Performance of Godspell at 2pm. This cast includes familiar faces from our own Chancel Choir, John Lee, and Orchestra! Join us here in the sanctuary this afternoon for the first program in a new “Sanctuary Arts Series” partnering with local arts and culture groups to present free arts programming here in our historic downtown sanctuary. A free-will donation will be accepted to benefit Creative Arts.
Maundy Thursday Dinner & Worship Service, March 28
- 6 PM in the Dining Hall there will be a Soup Supper before the service. Come any time during the hour (if you can’t arrive exactly at 6).
- 7 PM there will be a service in Guild Hall remembering the story of the Last Supper & Christ’s arrest and betrayal in the garden.
- 8 pm – Hallelujah Chorus Rehearsal. The choir will be singing the “Hallelujah Chorus” from Handel’s “Messiah” on Easter Sunday. If you’d like to sing with us on Easter, you will only need to commit to one rehearsal! Contact Chad or the church office to get involved.
Good Friday Service at Old South
- There will be a service held at Old South United Methodist Church across the street at 7 pm for anyone seeking a Good Friday service.
Easter Sunday
- On Sunday, March 31, at 10 AM we celebrate the Resurrection of Christ with brass, choir, and Hallelujah chorus. An Easter Egg Hunt for children will be held after church rain or shine (on the lawn or downstairs in case of rain).
